Alexandra Bruno scored six goals and Catherine Dickinson added five as Garden City beat Canandaigua, 13-8, to capture its record seventh consecutive state Class B girls lacrosse title.

After Dickinson's goal gave the Trojans a 7-6 lead with 23:59 left, they pulled away midway through the second half.

Catherine McTiernan added two goals and an assist and Megan McDonald made four saves for Garden City (17-5). The Trojans had also beaten Canandaigua in the 2010 state semifinals.
