'General Hospital' renewed
ABC Wednesday ended months of speculation by renewing the last remaining (and still very much beloved) soap on its schedule, "General Hospital," Verne Gay reports. Fans had feared it would meet the same fate as two of its other (and also very much beloved) soaps, "All my Children" and "One Life to Live." Meanwhile, the network canceled "The Revolution," a talk show. Its time period will be filled by Katie Couric's new talk show later this year.
