Geno will start vs. Steelers
Geno Smith will start Friday's preseason game in Pittsburgh, a league source confirmed.
Smith did not play in last week's preseason game due to a sore and swollen ankle. He went through all three practices this week and, barring a setback, will play on Friday. It's unlikely that he will play more than a series or two. Aaron Glenn will have a number of snaps that he will want Smith and other starters in the game.
