(AP) — Germany dominated a luge World Cup meet Saturday, sweeping the top three places in men's and women's races.

Andre Florschuetz and Torsten Wustlich won their second doubles race of the season and moved closer to capturing the overall title.

Two-time world champion Tatjana Huefner also closed in on her third overall title. With a track record in the first run of 42.920 seconds, Huefner raced to her 21st World Cup victory in an aggregate time of 1 minute, 25.936 seconds.

Anke Wischnewski was second and Natalie Geisenberger third.

Huefner has 670 points and a 60-point lead over Geisenberger, with one race and 100 points at stake.

Florschuetz and Wustlich, the Olympic silver medalists, gained their 11th World Cup victory in a time of 1 minute, 25,567 seconds.

Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt were second and 2002 Olympic champions Patric Leitner and Alexander Resch finished third.

Florschuetz and Wustlich extended their overall lead with one race left to 542 points. They're trailed by Leitner and Resch (500) and Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber of Italy (462).
