Tara Gerstacker (four goals, one assist) scored the winner with 30 seconds left to lift Eastport-South Manor to a 13-12 win over visiting Hauppauge in Division II girls lacrosse yesterday.

Dene DiMartino (five goals) scored with 1:31 remaining to tie the score at 12 as the Sharks (8-2) rallied from down three with 7:00 left. Brittany McCabe, returning from a two-week absence because of injury, had a goal and two assists. Samantha Giacolone made 16 saves for ESM. Hauppauge is 8-2.

Bellport 12, East Hampton 8: Grace Healy scored four goals, had two assists and won 10 of 20 draws for Bellport (5-5). Meredith Weber also had four goals and two assists and Kelly McPartland had two goals for Bellport.

Mt. Sinai 15, Westhampton 7: Shayna Pirrecca had two of her four goals in an eight-goal second half for Mt. Sinai (5-6). She also had one assist. Shannon Burns had four goals and Danielle Della Rocca had three.

Ward Melville 17, East Islip 9: Kelly Naslonski scored six goals to lead Ward Melville (4-5) in Division I. Maddy Wollmuth added two goals and three assists and Georgia Holland had a goal and four assists and Jennifer Walsh made 10 saves.

Bay Shore 16, Commack 7: Caroline deLyra scored six goals and added two assists for Bay Shore (8-2).

Plainview JFK 14, Island Trees 13: Kelly Carcich scored seven goals with two assists and Anna-Rose Austria scored her fourth goal with 5:02 remaining to give Plainview JFK (3-3) a 14-10 lead in Conference IV. Emily Lucas (five goals) scored for Island Trees to cut the lead to 14-13 with 1:04 remaining. Amanda Schiller made a key save with 40 seconds left to preserve the win.

Freeport 12, New Hyde Park 10: Alexis Washington scored three goals to lead Freeport (3-4). Gina Sparaco scored Freeport's deciding 11th goal with 12:36 remaining. Gina and her sister, Elena Sparaco, each had two goals and an assist and Jessica Cantres scored twice. Oludayisi Otulaja made 21 saves in the win. Jill Graziano scored three goals for New Hyde Park (3-3).

Mepham 20, Sewanhaka 13: Lauren Johnson had six goals and two assists and Cristina Olson added four goals and four assists for Mepham (11-0) in Conference V. Sewanhaka is 7-2.

Hewlett 14, Elmont 6: Jenni Rogoff had six goals for Hewlett (7-3) and Dani Kandel added three goals and four assists. Meri Oshrain saved 23.

Valley Stream Central 17, Malverne/East Rockaway 4: Nicole Riggio scored six goals and had two assists for Valley Stream Central (9-1). VSC's Nicole Mercado and Shannon Mincey had a combined seven caused turnovers and eight ground balls to help hold Malverne/East Rockaway scoreless in the second half.

Glen Cove 20, West Hempstead 5: Chelsee Marks had four goals and one assist for Glen Cove (5-1). Ariana Cavallone added four goals and fellow sophomore Alex Gerin had three scores.

Our Lady of Mercy 22, St. Mary's 11: Catherine Flood scored six goals and Patricia Takach added one goal and three assists to lead Our Lady of Mercy (5-3) in CHSAA. Sam Arlotta led St. Mary's with seven goals.

Portledge 14, Riverdale Country School 12: Addie Reilly had seven goals and an assist to lead Portledge (8-2) in NYSAIS. Claudia Rogers scored with 12:02 left to give Portledge a 13-11 lead. Chelsea Caracciolo added three goals and two assists. Ceci Mulry had two goals and three assists and Erin Brand made 12 saves for Portledge.

Roslyn 16, Great Neck North 8: Senior Samantha Labib had four goals and two assists and scored her 100th career goal to give Roslyn a 4-2 lead with 12:43 left in the first half in non-league. Labib now has 102 career goals. Stefanie Klapper added three goals and five assists and Chloe Street had three goals and one assist for Roslyn (6-5). Great Neck North is 6-4.

Clarke 14, Great Neck North 8: Senior John Wilson had a career-high five goals and added two assists to lead Clarke (1-3) in Conference IV.
