Gerstman off to fast start for Lynbrook

Brooke Gerstman had a good year as a sophomore, but she will be relied upon more this season as a junior for Lynbrook. So far she is up to the task.

Gerstman scored a career-high 33 points Thursday night in a 62-55 win over North Shore and was named MVP of the Wantagh Winter Tournament. She scored 24 points in a 55-27 first round win over Roosevelt on Tuesday.
