Gianna Raimi of Massapequa High School and the Long Island High School for the Arts

Gianna Raimi attends Massapequa High School and Long Island High School for the Arts. Gianna’s passion is dance and her studies extend to the Joffrey Summer Performance at Symphony Space and the Joffrey Nutcracker at Skirball Center.

Gianna’s studies focus ballet, modern and jazz performance. Her classes have also included dance history, audition, physical theatre and performance workshop.

Gianna was inducted into the National Honor Society, earned Honor Roll and High Honor Roll status at both high schools.

This year, Gianna continues her work in Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) which promoted a Safe Halloween program. Her activities and leadership are interrelated with work as a Peer Mentor and a Senior Nation Mentor. In addition, she has been a student representative at L.I.H.S.A, and helped establish the Dance Club
