Giants add DT Barten following Faalele trade
With Daniel Faalele traded to the Jaguars, the Giants had an open roster spot. They filled it by claiming defensive tackle Ben Barten off waivers Wednesday.
Barten was last with the Jets but initially signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent this spring.
The Giants need depth at defensive tackle after Bobby Jamison-Travis and Josh Tupou didn't practice Tuesday.
