Big Blue stops Big Blue

A year after giving up more points than all but one team in franchise history, the Giants' defense is flexing its moxie in training camp. Especially at the end of practices.

On Thursday night, Antrel Rolle capped the session with an interception of Eli Manning in a two-minute drill. The defense closed Friday's workout with a pair of goal-line stands. The offense tried to get the ball in the end zone six times and was stopped on each of them. Barry Cofield made one hit behind the line of scrimmage. Chase Blackburn made another good stop for a loss.

"It was just bodies flying around," coach Tom Coughlin said of the last six plays of practice. "You have to give the defense credit. They did a nice job. Usually, I think that is a downhill offensive drill, but the defense played it well."
