Giants trade o-lineman Ezeudu, acquire future 7th-round pick from Kansas City

The Giants traded offensive lineman Josh Ezeudu on Tuesday to Kansas City for a seventh-round draft pick in 2028, a league source confirmed to Newsday.
Ezeudu, drafted in third round in 2022, struggled with inconsistency moving from guard to tackle and missed all of last season due to a calf injury. Ezeudu moved back to guard during training camp and played in Saturday’s preseason win in Miami
Ezeudu is the second lineman the Giants traded this month after sending Daniel Faalele to the Jaguars for a sixth round pick in 2027. John Harbaugh said Monday that he was both pleased with his offensive line depth and how the front office is being aggressive acquiring draft capital.
“Any time you can add picks, it's a valuable thing,” Harbaugh said. “It's a future thing. Doesn't seem like much now, but it'll matter day three of the draft. It'll be something that we'll be happy we've got.”
