To earn her Girl Scout Gold Award, Sara Lombardi, 16, of Malverne, raised more than $1,000 to plant a tulip garden as a tribute to the St. Francis Hospital staff in Roslyn. The staff includes her mother, Josephine Lombardi, a physician assistant.
