Anselmini emerged as the state's top steeplechase runner, taking the Federation title in 6:44.50. It was the fastest time in the state this season.

One of the state's top young sprinters, Hannon took the 100-meter title in 11.98 seconds.

High Jump
Won the high jump title with a leap of 5 feet, 8 inches. Has the highest leap (5-9) in the state this year.
Donna Jeanty, Sr.,Brentwood, 400 hurdles
The University of Buffalo-bound senior ran the fastest 400-hurdle time (59.01) in the nation.
Emily Lipari, Sr.,Roslyn, 1,500
Capped her career at Roslyn with a 1,500-meter Federation title, the ninth of her career.
Kim MacKay, Jr.,Kellenberg, 800
Overcame a 20-meter deficit on the final lap to capture the 800-meter Federation title in 2:07.75, the fastest in the state this season.
Vanessa Stewart, Sr.,North Babylon, Shot put
Overcame the death of her grandmother two months earlier to capture the Federation title.
Garden City 4 x 800 relay (Taylor Hennig-So., Katie O'Neill-8th, Emma Gallagher-7th, Emily Menges-Sr.)
Gallagher overcame a deficit on the third leg and helped the Trojans set a state record of 8:49.88 in the race at the Federation final.
Garden City 4 x 400 relay (Jenna DeAngelo-So., Michelle Rotondo-Jr., Catherine Cafaro-Sr., Menges-Sr.)
The Trojans' depth in the relays was on display for all to see as they took home the title in 3:47.45.
