Kim Givelechian hit 5 of 6 free throws in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter, including two with six seconds left, to provide the final margin in Herricks' 38-35 win at Port Washington Saturday in Nassau Conference AA-III. Givelechian finished with nine points, and Bridget McHugh led Herricks (6-1) with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Hayley Kerr led Port Washington (4-3) with a game-high 14 points.

Hempstead 67, Valley Stream Central 49: Sophomore Celine Joliecour scored a career-high 29 points and senior Tanique Samuel added a career-high 23 points and 12 rebounds for Hempstead (2-5) in Conference AA-III. Christine Rivera led Valley Stream Central (1-7) with 19 points.

Garden City 47, Wantagh 35: Barbara Sullivan scored 16 points and Christina Mangels had eight points and 11 rebounds for Garden City (6-1) in Conference ABC-I. Kim Ryan added eight points for Garden City, which went on a 12-2 run in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter to make it 42-28. April Iannetta led Wantagh (3-4) with 14 points.

Lynbrook 51, New Hyde Park 34: Jessy Rosen had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead Lynbrook (5-2). Brooke Gerstman added 13 points and four rebounds. Ciara McCullagh led New Hyde Park (0-7) with a game-high 17 points.

Westbury 60, North Shore 54: Senior Lisette Price scored a career-high 24 points and hit 2 of 5 three-pointers in the fourth quarter for Westbury (3-3) in Conference ABC-II. Marlene Ricketts added 15 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists for Westbury. Elle Hoffman scored 16 points for North Shore (2-5).Cold Spring Harbor 46, Plainedge 41: Gabrielle Doria scored 12 of her game-high 21 points in an 18-11 fourth quarter and added 12 rebounds for Cold Spring Harbor (2-6). Katie Durand made six free throws in the fourth quarter and Jean Atkinson added nine rebounds for CSH. Michele Daubman scored 18 points for Plainedge (3-4).

Floral Park 41, Malverne 30: Danielle Donohue had a game-high 14 points, six rebounds and two blocks for Floral Park (6-1) in Conference ABC-III. Raquel Gonzales added 10 points, six assists and five steals. Eighth-grader Valerie Fox added eight points. Brianna Cunningham led Malverne (2-6) with 10 points.

Island Trees 46, Valley Stream South 35: Maggie Milonakis had 17 points and six rebounds for Island Trees (5-2) in ABC-IV. Nicole Pellegrino added 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals. The two combined to go 8-for-10 at the free-throw line in the final two minutes to seal the win. Vania St. Louis scored 15 points for Valley Stream South (1-6).Wheatley 43, Glen Cove 35: Olive McCracken scored 12 of her 14 points in a 28-19 first half to lead Wheatley (5-3) in Conference ABC-V. She added eight rebounds. Marie Ferrar scored 10 points off the bench, with seven rebounds. Nicole Alexander led Glen Cove (6-3) with 11 points.

North Babylon 85, Smithtown East 31: Senior Katrina Plummer scored a career-high 25 points, Bria Hartley added 19 and eighth-grader Charise Wilson chipped in with 13 for North Babylon (5-0) in Suffolk League III. Nicole Shevlin led Smithtown East (4-2) with nine points.

East Islip 46, Newfield 32: Elizabeth Hand scored 11 points with four assists, and Laura Hill added 11 points and three steals for East Islip (5-0). Jojo Regan led Newfield (1-5) with 13 points.

Smithtown West 68, Eastport-South Manor 45: Shneeka Center scored 39 points with 14 rebounds and Sara English added 22 points and nine rebounds for Smithtown West (7-0) in League IV. Alex Marshall led ESM (3-3) with 18 points.Bellport 47, Half Hollow Hills West 42: Afua Bediakio went 4-for-6 and Asia Roundtree went 5-for-8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter for Bellport (1-5), which erased a 32-28 deficit. Roundtree finished with 13 points and nine rebounds and Bediakio chipped in 12 points and three fourth-quarter steals. Kimani Jackson led West (1-5) with a game-high 21 points.

Deer Park 45, West Babylon 31: Shayna Robinson scored eight of her game-high 18 points in a 20-7 fourth quarter to seal the game for Deer Park (2-4). Nicole Alvarez had 10 rebounds to go with her six points. Brianna Waszak led West Babylon (2-4) with 10 points.

Pierson/Bridgehampton 46, Port Jefferson 38: Sarah Barrett scored 19 points and Samantha James added 16 points and 10 rebounds for Pierson/Bridgehampton (4-2) in League VIII. Kelsey Rice led Port Jefferson (1-5) with 16 points.Maria Goretti (Pa.) 45, St. Dominic 42: Madeline Hatty hit a three-pointer with 1:05 left in the fourth quarter to give Maria Goretti its first lead of the game at 43-42, and Angela Sciascia (13 points) added two free throws with 30 seconds left to make it 45-42 in the Nike Blue Chip Classic in Philadelphia. Angela Fiocca scored 18 points to lead Goretti. Katie O'Brien scored 15 points and Nicole Cacioppo added 14 for St. Dominic (3-8).
