Glen Cove concert to benefit homeless shelter

A fundraising concert scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Glen Cove will benefit an area homeless shelter.

Northwinds Symphonic Band, featuring conductor Helen P. Bauer, will perform “Broadway Showstoppers” at 3 p.m. at the Wunsch Arts Center, which is in the Robert M. Finley Middle School complex, 1 Forest Ave.

Tickets are $15. Proceeds will go to the North Shore Sheltering Program, which offers meals, shelter, showers and other services to the area homeless and needy.
