Goalie Dylan Villari scores goal in Holy Trinity's victory

Goalie Dylan Villari scored the go-ahead goal with 1:36 left in the third quarter as Holy Trinity topped Roslyn, 4-2, yesterday in non-league boys lacrosse.

With the Titans in a man-up advantage, Villari (11 saves) shifted to the midfield. Mike Weltner had a goal and an assist. Roslyn's Griffin Goldberg made 10 saves.

girls Island Trees 14, MacArthur 9: Natalie Sulmonte had six goals and three assists for Island Trees in non-league. Michaela Siegler added four goals and an assist. MacArthur's Erin Vaughan Ware had a goal and five assists and freshman Payton Napoli scored three goals in her varsity debut.

Hewlett 19, Wheatley 13: Kylie Halpern had five goals and three assists to lead Hewlett (1-1) in non-league. Olivia Epstein added four goals and two assists.

Long Beach 7, South Side 3: Catie Breglia scored twice and Sarah Reznick made 10 saves to lead Long Beach in non-league.
