Alex Marvez of Scripps Howard News Service did a really nice column on “Cowboy” Bob Orton, the father of current WWE superstar, Randy Orton.

If you’re an old-school wrestling fan you probably remember Bob Orton for always wearing a cast on his forearm. Like any good heel, Orton used the cast to his advantage when the referee wasn’t looking.

The column also touches on Orton’s return to the WWE in 2005 when he managed his son. Randy will face the Miz this Sunday for the WWE title at the Royal Rumble.
