The Blue Chip Prospects Grand Slam Challenge pitting the Nassau baseball all-stars against the Suffolk stars scheduled for Monday night at Farmingdale State College has been postponed because of weather.
The game was rescheduled for Monday, June 22, at Farmingdale State College at 7 p.m.
"We want it to be a great experience and the weather isn't cooperating," said Blue Chip Prospects owner Jim Clark. "The field took on a ton of water overnight and this morning. And we're expecting more inclement weather tonight. So it's in everyone's best interests to play it next Monday."
