Great Neck HS wants your electronic waste
North Hempstead is expanding its electronic waste disposal program to Great Neck North High School, where items will be accepted on Wednesday.
Students, faculty and residents can drop off electronic items such as televisions, printers, cellphones, computers and batteries from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Parkwood parking lot on Arrandale Avenue.
The town also provides free electronic waste drop-off on Sundays, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at 999 West Shore Rd., Roslyn.
Proof of residency is required and commercial vehicles are not allowed.
