Green leads short-handed Pacers
The shorthanded Hornets ended the visiting Denver Nuggets' winning streak at 15 games last night as Ryan Anderson scored 23 points to lead New Orleans to a 110-86 victory.
Hornets rookie Brian Roberts, making his second start, doubled his career high with 18 assists, 11 in the first half. New Orleans, playing without its starting backcourt of Eric Gordon and Greivis Vasquez, won its third in a row.
The Hornets shot 14-for-25 from three-point range as seven players scored in double figures. Danilo Gallinari had 24 points for the Nuggets. Denver lost for the first time since Feb. 22 against Washington after matching its 1969-70 ABA team's record of 15 straight victories.
Wizards 107, Grizzlies 94: John Wall scored a career-high 47 points and added eight assists and Emeka Okafor had 21 points and nine rebounds for host Washington. Wall shot 13-for-22 from the field and made a career-high 19 free throws in 24 attempts. Mike Conley led Memphis with 23 points.
Pacers 100, Hawks 94: Gerald Green scored 19 points and Roy Hibbert finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds for host Indiana, which played without Danny Granger, George Hill, Lance Stephenson and David West. The Pacers (44-27) moved a half-game ahead of the third-place Knicks in the Eastern Conference. Josh Smith had 20 points for the Hawks.
Warriors 109, Lakers 103: Stephen Curry had 25 points, David Lee added 23 points and 12 rebounds, Klay Thompson scored 22 points and Jarrett Jack had 19 to account for all but 20 of the host Warriors' points. Kobe Bryant scored 36 points and Steve Nash had 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers, who trailed 63-40 at halftime.
Jazz 107, 76ers 91: Randy Foye scored 17 points to lead seven players in double figures for host Utah. Dorell Wright had 19 points for the 76ers.
