Gregory Sisco - of Baldwin Senior High School September 2011 Scholar Artist

Gregory Sisco is a senior at Baldwin Senior High School and has been part of the technical theatre program since his freshman year.

He began as a Lighting Technician and has grown to become both Lighting Designer and Stage Manager. Greg was Lighting Designer for last year’s musical production of Jekyll and Hyde. This was the first time a student designed lighting at Baldwin High School and it was this design that was recognized by the LIAA.

In addition to his achievements in technical theatre, Greg is also a talented musician. He was recently selected for the second year in a row to play in the All State Music Festival in Rochester and is also a member of the Nassau-Suffolk Wind Symphony. Greg is president of his high school’s chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, as well as the secretary of his school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. Greg also is a gifted Alto Saxophone player performing in NYSSMA All State this year.
