Will that be cash or credit?
If you’re getting gas at the Gulf station on the South Service Road off Exit 59 of the Long Island Expressway, that choice will cost you 88 cents a gallon.
We point this out thanks to Twitter user Eric Hornick (@ehornick), who posted a picture of the station’s prices, warning his near 3,300 followers: “Don't get ripped off.”

The prices at the station were:
Regular: $3.49.9 cash, $4.37.9 credit
Plus: $3.99.9 cash, $4.87.9 credit
Premium: $4.09.9 cash, $4.97.9 credit
Contacted by phone later, Hornick said he was so surprised that he asked an attendant if there was a typo in the prices.
Attendant Ram Kumar, 35, of Ronkonkoma, said the prices have had a similar spread since he started at the station two months ago.
“Sometimes people tell us that 88 cents difference is too much. It’s [the] company. What can I do?”
