Celebrities will be in abundance to help worthy causes -- but don't worry, Dad, Father's Day gets some attention, too.

1. Canal Room Southampton sees its grand opening Friday with a show from '80s tribute band Rubix Kube starting after 9:30 p.m. A sibling spot to the Manhattan venue of the same name, expect a sizable (and trendy) crowd. Tickets are $30 and available at (230 Elm St., 212-941-8100,

2. This year, the annual South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) summer benefit is "going SoHo" at 6 p.m. Saturday -- don your hippest hipster threads in accordance with the downtown Manhattan theme. Supermodel Christie Brinkley is the guest of honor, and music will be supplied by celebrity DJs Nick Cohen and Alexandra Richards (daughter of Rolling Stones guitar star Keith Richards). Tickets start at $250 ($125 for guests 30 and younger), with hors d'oeuvres and open bar included (visit to email for more info or tickets).

3. God's Love We Deliver -- an organization that works to supply free healthy meals to those who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves -- is having its annual Midsummer Night Drinks benefit 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Woodhouse Park (the private home of Tony Ingrao and Randy Kemper) in East Hampton. Ingrao and Kemper will host, along with such notables as designer Calvin Klein and editor in chief of Architectural Digest Margaret Russell (event committee members include actress Kim Cattrall, Beth Ostrosky Stern and actor Kyle MacLachlan). 4. Even with all the big parties and famous faces doing fabulous things during Father's Day weekend, the Hamptons still has something simple, yet special, for Dad. Sag Harbor's annual arts and crafts fair runs 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Vendors will set up near Marine Park (7 Bay St.) with home decor items, crafts, clothing, art and handmade jewelry for sale.
