Hardly work for kids during BNL visit

At Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, where they consider smashing atoms work, there's always a chance something explosive might happen on Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Instead of the boring office tour that most kids are tortured with, on Thursday BNL staffers' children got to see what happens when Mentos are combined with Diet Coke.
