Two of the top players in their class nationally will square off for the Suffolk Class AA girls basketball championship Thursday night when UConn-bound senior Bria Hartley leads No. 1 North Babylon (18-2) against Boston College-bound Kristen Doherty and No. 2 Sachem East (17-3) at 7:30 at Farmingdale State.

Hartley, who was named one of six finalists for the Morgan Wootten Award as player of the year Wednesday, scored a career-high 43 points in a semifinal. North Babylon is going for its third title in four seasons. Sachem East makes its third straight trip to the final.
