Hearing on New Cassel zoning changes tonight
At its board meeting tonight, the Town of North Hempstead is scheduled to hold a public hearing to discuss zoning changes in New Cassel.
The hearing will be about whether to reduce front-yard set back requirements in the New Cassel Urban Renewal district.
The move is part of a $60-million effort to revitalize New Cassel, which includes an affordable housing development and six mixed-use projects.
The meeting takes place 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 220 Plandome Rd.
