Westbury residents can attend a community forum Tuesday night at Village Hall to speak about a plan to restrict overnight parking in some village streets.
The 7:30 p.m. forum follows a Sept. 19 meeting at which about 100 residents showed up.
A proposed law seeks to ban parking on some streets in the central portion of the village, from 2 to 6 a.m., as a way to combat illegal housing.
Some residents praised the proposal, saying it was essential for the village to prosper, while others fretted about parking headaches.
The board has called the plan flexible, and officials said no action will be taken at the forum.
An official public hearing will take place later.
