'Rock On! Masterworks of Rock Photography" opened Saturday at Huntington's Heckscher Museum of Art, where it runs through Jan. 9.
The exhibit brings together shots of 43 artists - from Chuck Berry and Little Richard to LL Cool J and Tupac Shakur, with stops in between with Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.
Among the 28 photographers represented is Bob Gruen, who grew up in Great Neck.
