A timeline on black history, dance selections and featured speakers will be part of Hempstead Village’s Black History Month program at Kennedy Memorial Park tonight from 6-8.

The speakers include Edward Tolver, president of the NAACP’s Hempstead branch; Vivian Tucker, an evangelist from Joyful Baptist Church; Henry Conyers, Village of Hempstead deputy mayor; and Don Durant, an author and playwright.

Kennedy Memorial Park is located at 335 Greenwich St.
