Hempstead Town has launched its newly redesigned website for residents, an interactive information hub for residents with detailed information on departments, events and downloadable forms and applications.

“I encourage all Town of Hempstead residents to visit our website, www.TOH.li, and check out all that America’s largest township has to offer,” Town Supervisor Kate Murray said in a statement.

Users will find that the interactive and colorful site has dozens of self-expanding information boxes, drop-down menus and pop-up tabs, many of them accompanied by photos taken around the town. The latest town news clips and public service announcements can be found on the video page.

The website, launched last week, will also highlight events, programs and activities taking place throughout Hempstead, including children’s holiday shows and the town’s Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Program.

Residents can look up emergency contacts, the town’s budget, the town board meeting calendar and agenda, as well as parks, beaches and town facilities in their areas.
