More than 270,000 daily riders will be without the LIRR for Monday morning's rush hour.
Shuttle service to and from specific Suffolk LIRR stations will run into and out of the city during morning and evening commutes. The Nassau stops will only run in peak directions, heading toward New York City in the morning and back to Long Island in the evening.
Hours of operation are:
• 4:30 to 9 during morning rush hour
• 3 to 7 in the evenings.
