The Hicksville Chamber of Commerce is expecting its biggest turnout yet for its annual Business & Community Expo on Saturday.

Chamber executive director Stephanie Sokenis said she’s expecting more than 40 businesses to come out and connect with Hicksville residents at the 25th annual event. Sokenis added that the chamber saw membership surge 300 percent this past year and the newly enrolled will bring more variety to the event.

“We’ll have hair people, electricians, everything from blue-collar to white-collar, mom-and-pop to corporate America,” she said. “And that’s what it should be. It’s a real representation of Hicksville.”

The expo is from noon to 6 p.m. at 358 Broadway Mall, in the rotunda, and will feature door-prize giveaways each hour (winners must be present to win). Find more information about the expo at the Chamber's website.
