Hunter Schenkel scored 31 points, including his team's last 16, and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Sayville over Glenn, 60-52, in a Suffolk non-league boys basketball game Monday. Connor Gaffney added nine points for Sayville (4-2). Timmy Greschner led Glenn (2-5) with 15 points. Islip 64, Patchogue-Medford 49: Frankie Basile had 26 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to lead Islip (2-4). Raphael Alomar added 15 points and eight rebounds.Carey 58, Sewanhaka 48: Kieran Murchie scored 16 points to lead Carey (1-3) in the first round of the Sewanhaka District Challenge. Tom Gallant added 15 points and 17 rebounds and Michael Catanese had 14 points. Carey will face Floral Park in the final Tuesday at 2 p.m.
