Teen author collects over 1,000 books for kids in need

Seventeen-year-old Sumaiya Ramsaroop of Elmont is a self-published author who recently collaborated with Hindi's Libraries. The organization donates books to children in need all over the world in honor of Hindi Krinsky, a teacher from Cedarhurst who died at age 32.
