St. Anthony's beat Monsignor Farrell last night 6-3 and have now clinched sole possession of first place in the A-Division for the regular season.

The team will face off against Farrell again on Friday, and it will be interesting to see if they come out at full attack to stay sharp for the playoffs, or if they keep a few tricks tucked away in their bag in case the CHSAA playoffs comes down to a Farrell v. St. Anthony's series.

The CHSAA playoffs start Thursday, Feb. 11 and I'll post a full schedule as soon as I get it.

Interesting stat: After St. Anthony's started last year 0-7, they've since won 20 out of 23 games, returning to the world-beaters they were in the Suffolk League.
