Hockey Headlines: St. Anthony's still waiting for an opponent
St. Anthony's clinched a trip to the A Division finals with back-to-back wins over Fordham this weekend, but its still waiting to find out who it will be facing.
Farrell surprisingly dropped its first game to Iona 7-3 on Friday. St. Anthony's coach Jeff Stelmok said Iona looked like a "completely different team" during the contest. But Farrell evened things up with a 6-2 win last night at the Ice Hutch.
The "B" semi finals come down to a Feb. 19th Game 3 at Coney Island. Both teams have scored nine goals and allowed nine (obviously) in the contest, however, you have to go with Farrell for the safe bet here, considering the team seriously challenged St. A's for the regular season crown.
We'll update you with the results, and hopefully a more complete playoff schedule for the finals, once it becomes available.
