Bryan Barnes, a law student at Hofstra University, joined the College Republicans in chanting and proudly holding political signs rallying behind republican challenger Mitt Romney on Tuesday.

"[Barack] Obama may have had a head start, but we're closing in fast," said Barnes, 26, of Garden City. "When we [Romney supporters] came, we came out in force. This is our future and we need to vote for the right person to help us work towards a brighter future."
