City of Long Beach buses will not run on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day — both Sundays — officials announced this week.

The city’s buses will run on a holiday schedule Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

City Hall, the Magnolia Senior Center and Day Care Center, and YFS Holiday Care will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. The recreation center will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but open Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, officials said.
