Holiday schedules
Sunday is Christmas Day. Government offices, schools, courts, the financial markets and post offices will be closed Monday. No mail will be delivered except for Express Mail. The Long Island Rail Road will operate a weekend/holiday schedule and off-peak fares will be in effect. Monday the LIRR will operate a regular weekday schedule.
