Hollywood Life: Caitlyn Jenner going on speaking tour in 2016
Caitlyn Jenner will start a five-stop speaking tour, called "Up Close and Personal," in Toronto on Feb. 22.
The appearances will focus on "Caitlyn's personal journey with an inspiration-message of acceptance towards the transgender community and what it takes to lead an authentic life, followed by a short, moderated, question-and-answer period," said lecture series spokesman Howard Szigeti. Jenner, who turns 66 next week, has been outspoken about her struggles and those of less-privileged individuals since coming out as transgender in April.
The tour is part of the Unique Lives & Experiences series and will also hit Vancouver, British Columbia; Denver; San Francisco, and Seattle. Jenner is a pro at public speaking. For years, she spoke to underprivileged youth and encouraged students to get involved with sports.
Backstreet out in front
How do you top a fashion show headed by Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner? With a surprise performance from the Backstreet Boys, of course. The '90s boy band closed out the Balmain x H&M fashion show in New York City Tuesday night with all five members on hand, including Nick Carter, who is competing this season on "Dancing With the Stars."
Carter and bandmates Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and A.J. McLean took the stage to perform some of their hits including "I Want It That Way," "Larger Than Life," and "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)."
Hadid and Jenner reportedly sang along and danced as they watched the guys perform from the front row.
