MAD MAKS?Hope Solo, a member of this year's Olympic gold medal-winning U.S. women's soccer team, has accused "Dancing With the Stars" dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy of striking her while they rehearsed for the show's 13th edition last year. "He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly," she says in her new book, "Solo: A Memoir of Hope." One time when "Maks was trying to put me in a certain position [he] hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day." Another time, she writes, "[H]e slapped me across the face. Hard." She said Chmerkovskiy apologized and ABC offered her a new partner, which she declined. The network had no comment on the allegations.
