How Super Bowl tickets are dispersed by the NFL

The Giants officially lost out on the opportunity to become the first team to host and play in the Super Bowl after its loss on Sunday.
But, hey, the Giants will get still 3.1 percent of the tickets for Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2, 2014, in MetLife Stadium.
Here's a look at the ticket breakdown for Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium, which lists its capacity at 82,566:
NFL league office: 25.2 percent
AFC champion: 17.5 percent
NFC champion: 17.5 percent
Giants: 3.1 percent
Jets: 3.1 percent
Other 28 teams: 1.2 percent each (total: 33.6 percent)
