How to . . . find lyrics for music player
You might know the lyrics to many of the songs in your music library, but for the times you play a tune and want all its words, MetroLyrics has a free plug-in to aid you that works with iTunes, WinAmp and Media Player, as long as you are online.
1. Go to metrolyrics.com/plugin .html and download the LyricsSeeker Plugin for either Windows or Macintosh. When you install, it will ask you to check off which music players you want to get lyrics for.
2. Once LyricsSeeker is installed, open your music player and play a song. The program operates from your computer's taskbar. If lyrics are available, a clickable balloon will pop up, leading you to the lyrics page. Right click on the program's icon to adjust how fast the balloon will appear and disappear.
3. LyricsSeeker's database has more than 1,000,000 songs by 20,000 artists, and we had a very high degree of success. Keep the song title and artist name fields in your music player accurate. We had trouble finding lyrics where we had added the artist's name in the title field when we had multiple versions of the same song by different artists.
