Hudson, boyfriend Bellamy expecting a baby

Actress Kate Hudson and boyfriend Matthew Bellamy, lead singer-songwriter of the British alt-rock band Muse, are expecting a child. Hudson, the daughter of Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn, already has a son, Ryder, 7, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, frontman of the American rock group The Black Crowes.
"It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it," a source told Us magazine, adding that Hudson "is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister."
"They couldn't be more excited," another source told People magazine. "Kate is really happy. She was always excited to have kids again at some point."
Hudson, 31, who is reportedly 14 weeks pregnant, has been dating Bellamy, 32, for about nine months.
She began seeing New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez in May 2009, cheering him on through his team's World Series win that November, but by the end of the year they had broken up.
Bellamy and Hudson met after Bellamy split with his fiancee, Gaia Polloni.
Supporting actress Oscar nominee Hudson ("Almost Famous") also previously dated bicyclist Lance Armstrong and actors Dax Shepard and Owen Wilson. Wilson's representative said Monday that Wilson is expecting a child with girlfriend Jade Duell.
