'The Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman sounded a cautionary health note Thursday when he posted a photo of himself with bandages covering his nose, Newsday contributor Frank Lovece reports. "Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked," he tweeted of his wife of 17 years, actress and adoption advocate Deborra-Lee Furness. "Boy, was she right! I had a [basal-] cell carcinoma," he wrote, referring to a potentially disfiguring form of skin cancer. "Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!"
