Independent living forums for seniors in Hamptons

The Suffolk County Health Department and Southampton Town Senior Services are holding a series of seminars that focuses on keeping senior citizens independent through preventive measures.
Among topics discussed will be fall prevention, confidence building, balance and strength training, vision and medication review, and checking one’s home for safety.
The remaining events will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at two locations: Friday at the Hampton Bays Senior Center and Saturday at the Flanders Senior Center.
