Intense police activity at W. Babylon Dunkin' Donuts

A Dunkin’ Donuts across the street from West Babylon High School was the scene of intense police activity this afternoon.

The Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 109 was blocked off by police for an area stretching two blocks. Some 13 police cars were in the parking lot, and more cars were elsewhere in the area.

Police did not immediately release details of what happened, but a briefing was expected this evening.
