Island Trees-Division Game 2, the live blog

Laura Albanese here from Farmingdale State as No. 3 Island Trees tries to even it up against Division, which defeated the Bulldogs, 5-1, yesterday.
UPDATE: Island Trees wins, 12-6. Game 3, Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Island Trees leads 12-6 in sixth.
Top Sixth: Nigro with a bloop RBI single to score the runner from third with one out. It's his fourth RBI of the game. He gets caught stealing in the next at-bat. Bulldogs are up 12-6.
Bottom Fifth: Starter Mike Jeannetti works around a lead-off walk with the help of a nifty 6-6-3 DP to end the inning.
Top Fifth: Chris Cutrone scores on a wild pitch. Island Trees up 11-6.
Bottom Fourth: HUGE, huge, huge inning. Division scores six runs with two outs. They kicked it off on Johnny Muller's two-out, two-run double. Lenny Martinez's hit an infield single that was thrown away to score the third run. Then, with two on, J.J. Kissane hit a 360-foot blast to left field. Division draws to within 10-6.
Top Fourth: Island Trees scored four more in the fourth, capped by Kyle Nigro bases-clearing stand-up triple off reliever Brian Ulster. Ulster allowed four runs on two hits with two walks in 1 2/3 innings. Owen McHugh in to pitch.
Top Third: Louis Mele's two-run single to left in the third ignited a six-run inning, capped by Ryan MacDonald's RBI triple on a blast to rightfield. Starter Mike Roestenberg got the hook without recording an out in the third. He allowed six hits, with five walks and three Ks in two-plus innings.
