Islip Supervisor Phil Nolan on Monday is to deliver the annual State of the Town address, which will focus on creating jobs, shrinking government and Heartland Town Square.

“With unemployment still at a record high, and our young professionals fleeing the region at an alarming rate, it’s time for a new approach,” Nolan said in a statement.

Nolan's address is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Islip Town Hall, 655 Main St., Islip.
