The Town of Islip will celebrate Black History Month in February and Women's History Month in March by honoring people who live and work in the Town of Islip and have made significant contributions to the Islip community.
To nominate a community member you must submit a nomination form for Black History Month by Jan. 14 and Women’s History Month by Jan. 21. Nomination forms can be found here.
A short biography, resumé and letters of recommendation must be attached to the nomination form. Honorees will be selected based on their accomplishments and contributions to the Town of Islip community.
