At its Oct. 5 meeting the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Bay Shore: Granted Jesus and Sonnia I. Lucero permission to retain a two-story addition with insufficient side yard, northwest corner of Lincoln Boulevard and Rosewood Place.

Bay Shore: Granted Jason Dufek permission to build a one-story addition, a two-story addition, a second-story addition and a roofed-over porch and retain a deck with insufficient setback and floor area ratio, east side of Inlet View, north of Bay Place.

Fire Island: Granted Nancy S. Rand permission, as amended, to retain an outdoor shower, two decks and two sheds with insufficient side and front yards and floor area ratio, west side of Birch Walk, south of Central Walk, Fair Harbor.
